A cornerstone of the Pieve line, the vintage Chianti Classico has recently been revised in the blend, returning it to a more typical version, inserting to a base of Sangiovese a 10 percent in mixed proportions, of Canaiolo and Colorino, two indigenous Tuscan grape varieties.
It comes from grapes selected in the areas of Campoli and San Donato in Poggio.
