Production area: municipality of San Casciano val di Pesa
Vineyard altitudes: between 200 mt and 260 mt
Harvest: end of September, hand picked in boxes
Drying: on trellises, in rooms at room temperature and with natural drying process
Fermentation and aging: after pressing, in oak barrels for at least 48 months
Alcohol content: 15.5% vol.
Amber yellow in color, the nose has a complex bouquet where hints of dried fruit, caramel notes predominate.In particular, aromas of date, dried apricot predominate. On the palate it is harmonious and soft, velvety, good structure.
Aged cheeses, dry pastries, Prato cantuccini biscuits and generally traditional sweets with almond paste.
