Made from Canaiolo and Sangiovese grapes, in varying proportions depending on the vintage and the quality level of the grapes, it is a wine that was created in an attempt to meet the demands of a market that has brought rosé wines back into vogue, rightly rediscovered and elevated to products of excellence.

Appellation: Rosato Pieve IGT
Production area: municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle
Vineyard altitudes: between 308 and 350 mt
Harvest: late August, early September, harvested by hand
Fermentation and aging: short macerations at controlled temperature.
The subsequent low-temperature fermentation is carried out in stainless steel vats, the wine is then aged in the same type of wine vats but smaller in size for 6 months, before being bottled and thus ending its aging in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Tasting notes:
claret pink in color, the nose has a fresh fruity and vegetal bouquet.
Hints of strawberry, raspberry and green bell pepper.
On the palate it is savory with an acidity between fresh and lively freshness and a balance unbalanced slightly on the hardness with clear persistence in the retrohale.
Pairings:
Seafood appetizers and entrees, sushi and crudités, pizza, vegetables, fresh stringy or soft cheeses.
