Pugnitello, an indigenous grape variety of the Tuscan Maremma, has found its chosen dimension here, where it was planted in the Cipressa vineyard in San Donato in Poggio and more recently in Campoli.
The vine produces black grapes that, as the name implies, resemble a small fist because of the large, close-knit berries. The cluster is picked and medium/small in size, the vegetation very vigorous.
